Read this before you deploy. It is short.

One round, start to finish. Then the numbers, where the fees go, how the draw is made, and what the admin can and cannot do.

Sectors

25

Ten are solo, fifteen shared. Which ones is fixed when the round opens.

Ore per round

1

One THULE is minted for the winning sector. 0.2 more goes to the motherlode pool.

Motherlode

1 in 500

A round that strikes pays the whole pool to the winning sector, pro rata.

Supply

3M

Hard cap. Emission stops at the cap; the game keeps running on HYPE alone.

The round

Four steps. No exceptions.

Everything below is enforced by the Mine contract, not by this site.

01 Deploy

Put HYPE on any set of sectors

One amount per sector, once per sector per round. The first deploy of a round starts its clock. The site stops taking deploys a few seconds before the end, because a transaction that lands late reverts.

02 Seal

The clock runs out and anyone seals

Sealing records the current block. That block's hash is one half of the draw. Nobody knows it when the seal is sent.

03 Resolve

The operator reveals, one sector wins

The operator reveals the next link of a hash chain it published in advance. Link and block hash together pick the sector. On a solo sector one miner is drawn in proportion to HYPE deployed and takes the whole THULE. On a shared sector it is split pro rata. If nobody is on the winning sector, the THULE rolls into the motherlode.

04 Collect

HYPE back, ore in your vault

Your round is settled on your next deploy or claim, or by anyone who calls settle for you. Nothing expires. HYPE can be claimed at once. Ore sits in your vault until you claim it.

Fees

What comes back, and where the rest goes.

Two fees on deployed HYPE, one toll on claimed ore. That is all of them.

HYPE on the winning sector
97% back
HYPE on a losing sector
87.3% back
Admin fee, every sector
3%
Protocol fee, losing sectors only
10% of the rest
Refinery toll on raw ore you claim
10%
Voided round
100% back

Where the protocol fee goes

Most of it buys the ore back.

70% buys THULE on the market: nine tenths of that is burned, one tenth goes to stakers. 20% buys $ELYSIUM in its pad pool and burns it. 10% rests in the reserve as bids below the market price.

The admin fee goes to the Project Elysium team wallet. Until a THULE pool exists, the buyback share accrues and funds that pool.

The ore vault

Raw ore pays a toll. Waiting earns it.

The toll never leaves the game: it goes to the miners who have not claimed yet.

Raw ore

What you mined

Held in your vault inside the Mine. Claiming it pays the 10% refinery toll.

Refined ore

Your share of other miners' tolls

Every toll is split across all raw ore still in vaults, in proportion. Refined ore is toll-free when you claim it.

Claiming

All, or a part

You choose the share. If you are the last raw-ore holder, your toll goes to the motherlode instead.

Autominer and staking

Mine without clicking. Hold without selling.

Both are optional. Both are contracts you can read.

Autominer

A wallet contract that deploys for you

You create it, fund it and start it in one transaction. It is the miner: it holds your HYPE and deploys every round by your settings, all sectors, your picks, a random set, or a count of solo and shared sectors. HYPE that comes back is deployed again. An executor triggers it once per round for a small fee capped in the contract. Only you can withdraw, and ore only ever goes to you.

Staking

A share of every buyback

Stake THULE and receive stTHULE. One tenth of all THULE the protocol buys back is sent to the vault, so each stTHULE is worth a little more THULE over time. No lock and no fee. The yield depends on how much HYPE miners deploy; it is not fixed.

The draw

Two inputs. Neither side knows both in time.

Miners do not know the operator's next link. The operator does not know the seal block's hash until the round is sealed, and it cannot swap links: each one must hash to the last. If the reveal does not arrive while the block hash is still available, the round is void and everyone is refunded.

Entropy
keccak(link, hash of the seal block)
Winning sector
entropy mod 25
Solo draw
bit-reversed entropy mod HYPE on the sector
Motherlode
bit-reversed entropy mod 500 equals 0
Solo sectors
shuffle keyed by keccak(round number), first ten
Seal window
256 blocks, then void and refund
Trust left over
the sequencer could bias a block hash; it is not a player

Limits

What the owner can do. And cannot.

Every power is a public function on the contract. None of them reaches a sealed round.

Can

Pause new deploys
settling and claiming still work
Change round length and minimum deploy
applies from the next round start
Change fee recipients and the routing shares
fee rates are constants
Move the accrued buyback HYPE to open the pool
only before a pool is wired
Name the autominer executor and its fee
capped at 0.001 HYPE per deploy
Start a new entropy chain
refused while a round is sealed
Name burn keepers
they can only trigger burns

Cannot

Mint THULE
only the Mine mints, only at resolve
Change fee rates or the reward
compiled into the contract
Take deployed HYPE, miners' balances or staked THULE
no function exists
Withdraw the reserve
it only leaves as a buy
Choose a round's outcome
links are chained, the block is fixed first
Upgrade the contract
there is no proxy

Questions

Short answers.

If one of these is wrong, the contract wins. Read it.

No. A losing sector returns 87.3% of its HYPE and the winning sector 97%. What you can lose is the fee, every round, and you may never win ore.
It raises the chance that you are on the winning sector and raises the fee you pay on the others. Your expected ore per HYPE depends on how crowded each sector is, which you can see on the board.
The same on average. A solo sector pays the whole THULE to one miner drawn by HYPE share; a shared sector pays everyone their share. Solo is more variance, not more ore.
Rounds seal and then void after the window. Every deployment is refunded in full and no ore is minted until an operator is back. HYPE and ore already settled stay claimable.
Nowhere yet. There is no pre-mint and no launch pool. The treasury opens a pool after the mine has run long enough to show what a THULE costs to produce.
No. The contracts have a Foundry test suite with fuzzed conservation checks, and the source is in the repository. That is not an audit.
